Barricade II Fire Blocking Gel is formulated with a safe surfactant that is an ingredient approved for use in foods. Safer surfactants are surfactants that break down quickly to non-polluting compounds. Nonylphenol ethoxylates, commonly referred to as NPEs, are an example of a surfactant class that does not meet this definition. There are no NPEs in the formulation of our product.
